Gorssel Noord is an easy 11.6 km spin through Nationaal Landschap De Graafschap, leaning toward gravel riding rather than technical MTB. It is a relaxed introduction to the woodlands and ditches of the Achterhoek.
The route runs mostly on sand and gravel roads with some wider forest paths, almost flat at just 22 m of gain. It crosses dense forest, rugged tree lines and rich ditch edges, and works well as a connector to Gorssel Zuid.
Sand and gravel roads dominate, making it a natural fit for gravel bikes and beginners.
With only 22 m of elevation, the loop stays gentle from start to finish.
Dense forest, winding tree lines and ditch-side greenery define the landscape.
