Ysselsteyn is an old-school endurance loop through the Peel region of northern Limburg, built for distance and exploration over difficulty. It links natural areas with long stretches, singletracks and asphalt connectors.
The 37 km route mixes forest roads, singletracks and road sections with modest climbing around the old Peel circuit and the Defence Canal. The scenery spans heath, forest, wetlands and landmarks like a German war cemetery and WWII bunkers, and can turn muddy when wet.
