Introducing the Dialed devlog

We build Dialed in the open. This devlog is the daily changelog: what shipped, why it matters on the trail, and what it looks like.

Dialed is the digital home for your mountain bike setup: the exact build of your bike in the garage, the pressures and clicks you ran on a trail, and the riders, mechanics and shops around it. We ship improvements to the web app, the iPhone app and our trail logger nearly every day, and until now those changes landed silently.

That changes today. This devlog is the running changelog of the platform. Every working day gets a short post: what shipped, why we built it, and what it looks like on your screen. No roadmap fiction, no marketing gloss, just the work.

What Dialed actually is

If you are new here, the short version:

  • Garage: the physical build of your bike, brand and model per mounted part, service history included. A hardtail has no shock slot; a mullet build has two different wheels. The garage knows.
  • Setups: what you actually ran on a trail: fork and shock pressure, sag, rebound, compression, tokens, and tyre choice per side. Bound to the trail and the conditions of that day.
  • Trails: real loops with real data. Lap times and surface data come from recorded rides, not guesses.
  • Community: friends, teams, events and a feed, with privacy controls per record.

There is a manual if you want the full tour, in English and Dutch.

What to expect here

One post per working day that something ships, written from the commit log of the three apps (web, iOS, and our invite-only trail logger traced.at). Screenshots come straight from the simulator and the live site, and where a screenshot shows a real page you can click it to go there.

The first real entry is already up: team invites and honest numbers. See you on the trail.
