Stadskanaal is a 13 km route in two distinct halves within the Westerwolde network. The forested Pagedal brings singletracks; the Vledderbos brings open grassland and a landfill climb.
The first half twists through Pagedal with waterside paths and easier-to-harder passages. The second crosses Vledderbos on unpaved trails that turn muddy seasonally, ending in a steep climb and demanding descent.
